Wairarapa's own Laura Cheetham began writing about her life experiences dealing with love, heartbreak and growing up when she was gifted her first guitar at just 13 years old. Since then, her music has evolved as have the words that shape her folksy, rounded sound. For such a small person, Laura’s vocal range is unexpected so don’t let her quiet beginnings fool you.

Alongside her own songs, Laura has a variety of classic tunes in store from Bob Dylan to Tom Petty and Ella Fitzgerald. We are super excited to welcome Laura to Mesita and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.
